Susan Cooper is the Assistant Dean for Practice and Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. An example of just one of the many successful Vanderbilt alumni, Ms. Cooper received both her B.S.N. and M.S.N. from the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. An active advocate of nurses, Susan received the State Award of Excellence as Nurse Practitioner Advocate from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2000. As authors of the Health Systems Management curriculum, Dr. Pilon and Ms. Close are truly an asset to the School of Nursing and to their students.
