Utica College Online is part of Utica College (UC). Utica College was founded in 1946 by Syracuse University. It became independently accredited in 1995. Utica College continues to grant the Syracuse University baccalaureate degree. In 1999, Utica College began offering graduate programs that grant the Utica College master’s degree, and in 2005 the Utica College doctoral degree.

Utica College is a school of over 2,600 students located in Utica, New York. Utica is a city of slightly over 60,000 people in central New York. It is approximately an hour east of Syracuse, and an hour and a half west of Albany.

UC's programs are offered in a distance learning format that allows minimal impact on busy life schedules.
