At the Texas Culinary Academy, classical French techniques are combined with state-of-the-art American technology to create Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts programs that give students the opportunity to develop a strong foundation for their future careers in the culinary arts. The Academy helps professionals increase their current skills, and prepares inexperienced students for their first steps into the culinary world. And they've been doing all this since 1981. The Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts programs are designed for students who are career-oriented and ambitious. The Texas Culinary Academy's innovative learning atmosphere is focused solely on student development. In each program, students go beyond culinary skills to gain the essential business knowledge that will serve as an invaluable advantage to them throughout their careers.
The Texas Culinary Academy's Le Cordon Bleu Specialized Associate Degree and certificate programs expose students a wide array of general education classes, in addition to their culinary classes. This allows them to develop the awareness, attitudes, knowledge, and values that will lead to their personal and professional success. Professional chefs teach all programs, passing on their insight and industry knowledge in an environment filled with professionalism and mutual respect. Class sizes are limited to encourage students to more fully express themselves creatively, as well as to ensure that students receive individual, personalized, one-on-one attention from their instructors. Classrooms are equipped with the latest technology in order for students to be exposed to industry-current methods.
The Texas Culinary Academy is dedicated to preparing students for the international hospitality industry by providing the finest hands-on education in the classic and modern culinary arts. The Academy is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education. And the school is located in an ideal place to live: Austin, Texas.
