The Adult and Graduate Studies (AGS) program at Southern Wesleyan University was founded in 1986 to provide adult students with accelerated course curriculum. These programs fit well with the on-the-go lifestyle of many working adults. Mature professionals have the opportunity to advance their training and design a more rewarding occupational experience.
AGS features elements such as class schedules to fit the working adult and streamlined registration. There are currently over 2,000 adults enrolled in AGS programs at Southern Wesleyan University, and attending classes at sties across South Carolina. With a retention rate of 85%, AGS continues to enhance their vision of quality education from a Christian perspective.
Southern Wesleyan University is committed to helping students make informed decisions regarding their future. They ensure students develop the skills that go hand in hand with the knowledge they learn in the classroom. Students receive assistance in professional development, leadership skills, and job searches. Student life at Southern Wesleyan goes beyond academics to the philosophy that all aspects of students' experience should be in line with the Christian mission of the university.
