The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology (PIT) was founded in 1953. It is a school of nearly 300 students located in Media, Pennsylvania. Media is a suburb approximately 30 minutes southwest of Philadelphia. PIT has a spacious 14 acre campus conveniently located near highways and public transportation. PIT's campus facility features state-of-the-art Computer and Allied Health Labs.

The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology offers associate’s degrees and certificate programs in Engineering Technology, Business, Allied Health, and Information Technology. PIT programs prepare students for immediate entry into the workforce or for transfer to a four-year college or university. PIT offers students nine Associate's Degree programs, including:

In addition, PIT offers an accelerated business degree that can be completed in as little as one year. This program is offered as either a 12 month or a 17 month program. Laptop computers are provided to students in the program, free of charge. After the student completes the fifth class, the laptop is theirs.
