The Minnesota School of Business (MSB) was founded in 1877. MSB is a multi campus institution with seven campus locations in Minnesota, one of which goes by the name of Globe College. Many of MSB's campuses are located throughout the Minneapolis and St. Paul metropolitan area. Combined the campuses serve over 2,000 students. MSB is one of the most recognized and highly respected providers of private business, medical, and computer education in the upper midwest.

The mission of the Minnesota School of Business is to provide education that enables graduates to reach their career and life goals through knowledge and skills training that meets the needs of business, industry and government. The Minnesota School of Business is dedicated to providing specialized career training in high demand fields. MSB offers diploma, associate, and bachelor degree programs in business, health sciences, computer imaging, and information technology. In total, MSB offers 19 different programs of study in high demand fields including:

All Minnesota School of Business programs feature an employer approved curriculum, hands-on training, small class sizes, and professional instructors with extensive experience. Many diploma programs can be completed in as little as one year. Bachelor degree programs can be completed in as little as three years. Many of MSB's programs include an internship/externship component allowing students to gain valuable real-world experience.

The Minnesota School of Business offers the convenience of flexible class scheduling to accommodate the needs of individuals with busy schedules. Classes are offered both day and evening for full-time and part-time students. Many classes are also offered online. In addition, four degree programs are also offered completely online. The convenience of day, evening, and online courses, coupled with seven convenient locations, makes it easy for individuals with substantial work and life obligations to obtain the education necessary to start a new career or to further an existing career.

As part of its community efforts, the Minnesota School of Business has been providing an innovative program of reality presentations that target life events which high school seniors may encounter as they enter the next phase of their lives (employment, college, obstacles, and money management). MSB has been providing these high school presentations for the past 30 years.

The Minnesota School of Business has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans).

The Minnesota School of Business is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award diplomas, Associate in Applied Science degrees, and Bachelor of Science degrees. The Minnesota School of Business and Globe College Medical Assisting programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of the Curriculum Review board of the American Association of Medical Assistants Endowment (AAMAE).
