The Medical Careers Institute (MCI) has over 1,000 students that attend programs at campuses in Newport News, Virginia Beach, and Richmond, Virginia. MCI offers convenient day and evening classes. They have small class sizes, allowing for more individual attention, state-of-the-art labs, and provide ample opportunities for hands-on learning through externships and clinical experience.
The Medical Careers Institute offers programs that allow students to start rewarding new careers quickly. Programs offered include:

Several forms of financial assistance or financial aid are potentially available to qualifying students at the Medical Careers Institute. These include:

The Medical Careers Institute is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE). The medical assisting programs in Newport News and Virginia Beach are accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
Medical assisting program graduates are eligible to sit for the AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) examination. Massage therapy program graduates are eligible to sit for the National Certification Exam offered by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work.
