Kaplan College sits on seven and a half acres in a quiet area of Hagerstown, Maryland. Hagerstown is located in the Cumberland Valley, which is surrounded by the Appalachian and Blue Ridge Mountains, as well as approximately 70 miles from the urban centers of Washington, D.C; Baltimore, MD; and Harrisburg, PA. This location offers students the option of participating in both recreational activities and excursions to metropolitan areas. The campus features a 27,000 square-foot administration building, which includes administrative offices, classrooms, libraries, computer and medical labs, a courtroom, and a student lounge with vending machines. The library is open every day and provides students with academic support in relation to their curricula and programs.
Kaplan College strives to help its graduates secure suitable and desirable employment through the Placement Office. The Office helps students develop effective job search skills, including cover letter, resumes, interviewing techniques, professional communication, and interpersonal skills. Every year, the Office holds an Employment Expo during which prospective employers visit the campus, allowing students to apply directly for positions and gain experience conversing and networking with employers.
