The International College of Hospitality Management (ICHM) gives its graduates the opportunity to be part of the multi-trillion-dollar hospitality industry, an industry that has a great demand for managers in the U.S. and around the world. ICHM offers the Swiss Cesar Ritz program combined with modern American management techniques. This program creates an educational environment in which graduates are given the chance to realize their full potential. Over 8,000 Cesar Ritz graduates are managing hospitality properties all over the globe, living their dreams of being successful hotel management professionals.
The International College of Hospitality Management Cesar Ritz offers professional education in hospitality management. Located in Suffield, Connecticut, ICHM is the only college in the U.S., and one of only four colleges in the world, to offer the fast-paced, student-centered Cesar Ritz curriculum. The program is accelerated so students earn their degree faster and begin earning money sooner. ICHM's educational philosophy revolves around the idea of teaching hospitality disciplines, such as food service, sales, and financial management, and teaching the liberal arts so students gain a wide understanding of the larger world.
The hospitality industry is growing rapidly, and the need for well-trained, capable managers is high. This results in a wide variety of opportunities for graduates of ICHM. Students often get job offers during their internships and sometimes complete a second optional internship in a supervisory capacity. The College makes every effort to connect students and graduates with employers who need them. Throughout each academic quarter, the campus is frequently visited by recruiters from properties around the U.S. and overseas. During these recruiting visits, many students receive more than one internship offer.
ICHM Cesar Ritz is committed to creating an environment of total learning. Students participate in the social, cultural, recreational, and governmental life of the College. They interact with students from many different nations, cultures, and backgrounds. The Director of Student Services stimulates student involvement in campus life and helps students in their personal and professional development. The campus has high-speed Internet access, wireless technology throughout the campus, a library, two computer labs, and a variety of exercise machines, basketball courts, and sports equipment.
