Since 1965, Herzing College has provided training for in-demand careers, and has had more than 35,000 people graduate from the college's 11 different locations across the US and Canada. Herzing College is committed to the satisfaction of students. The school provides a quality, student-centered education that prepares students for graduation and employment. In order to back this statement, they offer a written service quality assurance to students.

The Herzing College assurance guarantees that any student who is dissatisfied with any course may retake that course at no additional charge provided the student completed and passed the course, demonstrated compliance with the stated attendance policy, is not in default on his/her student loans, and is in good financial standing with the college. Herzing also guarantees that students will be provided the classes they need to complete their Bachelor of Science degree in 3 years or Herzing will provide, at no tuition cost to the student, any additional courses required.

Herzing College offers both Associate and Bachelor degree programs that focus on preparing students for computer and business careers in the job market. Their Diploma to B.S. Degree curriculum allows students to begin their education in a diploma program and then transfer to either an Associate degree program or a Herzing Bachelor of science degree program. Herzing also offers industry certification programs, which many employers are seeking today because they provide third-party verification that applicants have the right knowledge and skills. Herzing certification programs are not crash courses, but rather provide more time on academic programs than most short-term courses.

Because Herzing College believes that higher education enhances potential, they've simplified the admissions process to make it more user-friendly, and they've eliminated the application fee. The entire process consists of completing an admission application, meeting with an admissions representative for a personal interview, and passing an entrance assessment. It is also highly recommended that students contact the College and arrange for a campus tour where they can get all their questions answered. Herzing's Financial Aid representatives give students assistance in applying for financial aid.

Because students are serious about applying their education in the real world, Herzing College has an active and supportive Employment Services Department. The Department helps prepare students with job seeking skills, resume development, employer contact, and even part-time employment while enrolled. Students who take advantage of these services have a high chance of gaining employment in their field.
