Everest College was founded in 1982 as the Academy of Business College. The name was subsequently changed to Everest College. Everest College is a school with six campus locations: two of which are in Arizona in Mesa and Phoenix; one of which is in California in Rancho Cucamonga; and three of which are in Texas in Arlington, Dallas, and Ft. Worth. Combined, the campuses serve more than 3,500 students.

Everest College is part of Corinthian Colleges, Inc. (CCI). CCI operates over 80 colleges in 22 states in the U.S., and over 40 colleges and corporate training centers in Canada.

The mission of Everest College is to provide students of all ages with the practical skills, education and training needed to excel in their chosen fields. Everest prepares students to meet and exceed the existing needs of potential employers. Everest College offers programs that emphasize real-world training that is tailored to meet the needs of potential employers. Online courses are offered through the Internet using a “virtual classroom.” Online courses are similar in content to the traditional classroom courses.
