ECPI is a multi campus school with over 5,000 students across eleven campuses in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. ECPI Online is the online campus of ECPI.

ECPI's online classes are instructor-led and provide the same objectives and standards as their on-campus counterparts. ECPI offers five online programs in the following high-demand fields:

ECPI also offers the NCPACE online program (Navy College for Afloat College Education). This program is designed for Navy personnel assigned to AFLOAT Commands. If qualified, Navy personnel can take college credit courses, with tuition paid by the Navy. An additional innovative online program is ECPI Online's Alumni Program. This is an online degree completion program for ECPI graduates from ECPI's North Carolina campuses who have earned their diplomas in the areas of Computer Technology, IT/Networking, and IT/Web Development.

ECPI Online makes it easy for working adults, individuals who already have substantial work and life responsibilities, to obtain an education. Online courses, with the ability to study from anywhere at anytime, provide an easy way for individuals to obtain the education necessary to start a new career or to further an existing career.

ECPI takes career planning and placement for its students very seriously. The ECPI career services team works with students both before and after they graduate. Students can count on career advisors for help with:

For students who may require financial assistance to pay for their education at ECPI, there are many alternatives available. Financing options available to qualifying ECPI students include:

ECPI has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans).

ECPI is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Bachelor of Science, Associate of Science, and Associate of Applied Science degrees. The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools is a national accreditation agency that is recognized by the United States Department of Education. ECPI is also licensed by the State of North Carolina and the State of South Carolina.
