Digital Media Arts College seeks to empower its students to succeed as professionals in their chosen fields by providing the highest level of academic and artistic development. The latest tools and technologies help students to express themselves and their visions more clearly and easily. At DMAC, students have immediate access to these tools and technologies. Facilities are equipped with the latest computer systems and software and are backed by a sound network and corporate computing infrastructure that make DMAC one of the top technologically-equipped digital arts colleges in the country. The facilities were designed by staff digital artists with the goal of facilitating digital multimedia content creation, distribution, and management. Labs include software from the College's technology partners, including Alias/warefront, Discreet Logic, Dell Computer, Apple Computer, Microsoft Corporation, and Adobe Systems, Inc.
Computer Laboratories are made available to students 24 hours a day, allowing students to fit accommodate their schedules as well as their creative rhythms peak that may occur in the late night or early morning hours. The facility is monitored by security personnel to maintain the safety of students, the building is accessible only by authorized individuals, and the campus and parking facilities are well lit. DMAC understands that artists need to achieve a certain creative mood, and the labs are designed with the right combination of furniture, lighting, wall, floor, and ceiling effects.
