Every year, over 100 million Americans receive advice from alternative health practitioners. Since its founding in 1980, Clayton College of Natural Health has been helping its graduates lead this natural health revolution. The College has had more that 25,000 graduates, making it the world's leading college of natural health and holistic nutrition. Students can change careers, add new areas of expertise to their existing healthcare practice, or learn healthcare techniques for the benefit of themselves, as well as friends and family. Clayton College's admissions representatives can help students with questions they may have about costs, time, financing, scholarships, and program prerequisites. These advisors help prospective students determine the plan that best fits their goals, schedule, and financial circumstances.

There has never been a more ideal time to study natural health. There is a growing awareness that invasive and aggressive treatments disease do not go hand in hand with improved health. And medical costs are constantly increasing, prompting many people to seek self-empowering alternatives. Traditional naturopaths and holistic nutrition consultants are increasingly coming into contact with people who are more attuned to the mind-body-spirit connection and its relationship to optimal health. As a result, more and more allopathic practitioners are integrating holistic health therapies into their practices. With the world seeking natural and safe health alternatives, Clayton College of Natural Health embraces the idea that the body is innately designed to heal itself.

Clayton College offers a convenient alternative to campus-based education: self-paced distance learning. And the cost of this alternative is far below the cost of most on-campus colleges. At Clayton College of Natural Health, motivated students are allowed to create their own learning environment, study at their own pace, and fit their studies into their personal and professional lives. Students need to be self-disciplined, self-directed, and able to progress without the formal structure of a classroom. Many students choose to enhance their distance learning experience with Clayton College's annual Natural Health Conference, where students and graduates meet with faculty and staff to learn more about the field from leaders in natural health and holistic nutrition.

Each students is assigned a faculty advisor who helps facilitate the student's learning experience. The advisor provides learning support, ensures timely completion of work, responds quickly to the student's questions, and is available to the student five days a week during normal business hours by phone, fax, or e-mail. Clayton College's Web site offers discussion boards and real-time chats, allowing students to meet and network with their peers in the programs. Online testing is also available for many courses, with additional courses being added. And Clayton College of Natural Health's faculty include a master herbalist, massage therapists, professional counselor, doctors of traditional naturopathy, chiropractor, energy workers, and a physician, as well as many others.
