Berkeley College was established in 1931 as a coeducational college specializing in business. Today, the College has six locations in New York and New Jersey, with students from 18 states and 76 foreign countries attending, and is widely recognized for its academic excellence. Berkeley College features give out over $12 million a year in grants and scholarships and offers a tuition freeze for students who maintain continuous, full-time enrollment. Students can earn a Bachelor's Degree in as few as 3 years, or an Associate's Degree in 18 months.

Class sizes at Berkeley College are small to allow for personalized instruction, and the faculty is selected for academic credentials and professional experience. Berkeley has an extensive network of employer connections and offers its students on-the-job internships. The school has 20 Career Service professionals who specialize in each field of study and actively pursue job opportunities for each and every student. Last year, 95% of Berkeley College graduates were employed in positions related to their field of study.

Berkeley College has six different locations in the New York City area, giving students the option of either an urban or suburban setting. All locations enjoy easy access to New York City and its unrivaled educational, professional, and cultural resources. All locations are within 40 minutes of museums, Broadway theaters, concerts, ballet, sporting events, historic sites, and more. Berkeley College's academic programs offer superior value and balance traditional academic preparation with professional training and hands-on experience. The programs give students the knowledge and skills that are most in demand by today's employers. Programs are concentrated, flexible, and deliver the foundation necessary to move to higher levels or to launch a new career.

Berkeley College operates year-round, with four quarters starting in September, January, April, and July. This allows students to potentially earn their bachelor's degree in three, and an associate's in 18 months. Evening/weekend students can complete their bachelor's in less than four years, and their associate's in two years. Berkeley also offers study abroad options, which can provide exciting opportunities for students to experience an internationalized program of study. These programs include eight weeks of summer study in London and Paris, as well as ten-day seminars between quarters. All programs have a strong technology component that to ensure graduates are proficient in the software packages most often used in today's business world, including graphics, spreadsheets, databases, word processing, electronic communication, online research, and the Internet.

All students at Berkeley College have access to a range of services that includes career counseling by a specialist in their field, resume planning, training in interviewing strategies, and job placement. Placement counselors schedule interviews for each student's internship and assist them in securing a full-time position upon graduation. But Berkeley's commitment to its students doesn't end with graduation. All graduates receive lifelong job placement assistance and refresher privileges throughout their careers.
