Online Ethnomusicology
Ethnomusicology courses provide a background in non-Western popular music forms, and the role they play in indigenous cultures. Programs provide visibility into the process by which music is created, how this process is linked to each culture, and how to perform an ethnographic analysis. Ethnomusicology studies will generally include an introduction to technology that can assist in ethnographic analysis, and other disciplines, such as music theory, music psychology, linguistics, dance, music performance, and other related areas.
