Rn Programs
RN programs include training on how to assess a patient's medical condition, recognize and record symptoms, provide medications, start an IV, work in conjunction with the doctor, and a variety of activities designed to enable you to provide quality care to your patients. RN programs will also incorporate real world experience in a clinic or a hospital.
Your exact role as an RN is likely to depend on the setting in which you work. RN programs train you for employment in many roles, such as work in intensive care, the emergency room, maternity, neurology, surgery, or one of many other roles. As you already know, the registered nurses are in great demand, and the nursing shortage is well known. Graduates from RN programs are provided with better chances for career advancement, and are more likely to get supervisory jobs or get jobs in specialties.
