Online Patient Care Technician Training

Patient care technicians provide routine nursing care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse. Patient care techs check in patients, get patient histories, check vital signs, setup charts, coordinate test procedures, assist with patient prep required before medical procedures, change bandages, and perform venipuncture. Other tasks include moving patients, keeping medical supplies fully in stock and ready for use, and patient education.
