Minneapolis Colleges And Schools

The city of Minneapolis is Minnesota's largest city with a population of about 370,000. The Twin-City to Minneapolis, St. Paul, across the Mississippi River from Minneapolis, is Minnesota's state capital and second largest city with a population of about 270,000. Both are located in eastern Minnesota, on the border with Wisconsin. Minneapolis is home to over 15 schools, and St Paul is home to an additional 18 schools. They range in size from a less than a hundred students to the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with over 39,000 students. As with any major metropolitan area, Minneapolis/St. Paul is a center of art, communication, culture, design, entertainment, fine dining, government, history, nightlife, and industry. St. Paul is also home to an independent Class-A Minor League Baseball team, the St. Paul Saints.
